Hudson is a professional staffing and services firm with practices specializing in Legal, Technology, Finance and Human Resources. They provide consulting solutions to improve their clients' effectiveness, and they deliver professionals with specific expertise for both permanent and interim staffing needs.

The Project Summary:

Vivid Ascent was selected in a competitive RFP to design and optimize a new global website for Hudson thatwould work well for all their business units in 20 countries and attract new client leads and candidates. The project scope was truly global and the challenges faced through local country optimization were significant. Vivid Ascent conducted local keyword research in 13 languages to properly optimize the site as the copy was being written. Besides creating a design that was approved by all the global leaders, we also made title tag and other SEO-related recommendations to improve thesite’s visibility in each country.

The Challenge:

Designing a global website that needed to be approved by several different country leaders was our first challenge. After conducting research in the major geographic regions where Hudson competes, one of our designs rose to the top in each country. Eventually it became universally supported and was selected by the Executive Leadership Team to help refresh and improve Hudson’s image and website user experience.

We also had to overcome local country SEO history so the new site would appear at the top of search results for relevant keyword searches. Different staffing capabilities are more important in different countries requiring SEO tailoring to maximize the leads in each country.

The Results:

Rick Gray, Hudson’s Chief Marketing Officer said “Vivid Ascent takes a very web-centric approach to integrated marketing and their global experience convinced us that they were the rightcompany for this large program. We operate in 25 different countries and the sites needed to be researched andoptimized in 12 languages (all done by Vivid Ascent). Protective paints and coatings for both home and industrial use.

The Project Summary:

Rust-Oleum created a true innovation in the spray paint category when they launched "Rust-Oleum Universal Spray Paint". All spray cans prior to Universal will not dispense paint if they are turned sideways or upside down. Rust-Oleum Universal is the only spray paint that will maintain a continuous flow of paint, even if it's turned upside down. Vivid Ascent was selected to create the new website, along with ideas to attract attention and increase participation on the site. We built an interactive site, with a contest that allowed project pictures and video uploads and social sharing. We also built a cool "Color the Universe" game where players can spray paint astroid-like furniture in space with their choice of five colors of paint.

The Challenge:

Accelerate awareness using social media and interactive tools to help establish this new brand.

The Results:

The new website attracted thousands of new visitors and many uploaded pictures of their projects that were made with Rust-Oleum Universal. The clients characterized the successful website and game as one of the most effective in their new product launch experience.

Modern Masters

What They Sell:

Modern Masters Countertop Transformations is a breakthrough, countertop replacement solution priced under $300. The results are beautiful and highly durable.

The Project Summary:

Modern Masters was looking for in innovative way to launch their newest product, Countertop Transformations. Vivid Ascent developed the plan for Modern Master's to host a countertop transformation contest, named the "Kitchen:Possible". This contest encouraged consumers to photograph their kitchen before and after using the product, showing that Countertop Transformations is easy, affordable and very possible. The grand prize winner of this contest won all new appliances from Lowes.

The Challenge:

To build an audience willing to transform their kitchen countertops for the contest, with a limited marketing budget. Leverage social media and content syndication to build a loyal audience for the new product.

The Results:

The contest attracted over 100 participants, which is a very large number considering people had to replace their countertops. We attracted over 10,000 visits to the web site during the course of the contest. This contest garnered the most involvement in a product launch in the history of Modern Masters.

Chicago and New York commercial and residential real estate services, including a real estate brokerage in New York.

The Project Summary:

Vivid Ascent was hired to build four websites to promote this new real estate corporation in two of the biggest real estate markets in the country. Our research and experience led to a search engine optimization strategy that elevated Sinatra's sites above the competition in local real estate searches, despite the fact that we are competing against much more established competitors. The design conveys depth, user-experience insight and the most high-value keywords and site optimization. (http://www.sinatraandcompany.com)

The Challenge:

Build three new real estate websites and one new brokerage website to help launch the new Sinatra Real Estate Company. The sites had to offer a persuasive and inviting user interface and be visible in search results despite the large number of well established competitors. Vivid Ascent created a unique framework for the property search and display tool that is visible to the search engines (unlike most other real estate property search tools). Not only is it highly intuitive, but it is also visible to the search bots for better organic ranking.

The Results:

A Google search for the address of Sinatra featured properties delivers the Sinatra website at the top of search results. Sinatra and Company is off to a great start despite the difficult real estate marketplace. Their website increases their credibility and allows clients to find the right property within seconds. As Sinatra and Company grows, their search presence will accelerate allowing them to compete effectively within the established real estate marketplace.
